How Will COVID-19 Impact the 2020 elections?

 The May PMS Salon is dedicated to learning how COVID-19 will impact the 2020 U.S. Elections and what actions we can take to help make sure we win back the White House. What's at stake has never been as clear as it is now.

Anurima Bhargava, Founder and President of Anthem of Us and a 2020 DNC Platform Committee Member. She is also a known civil rights lawyer and activist. From 2010-2016, she led federal civil rights enforcement in schools and institutions of higher education at the U.S. Department of Justice, and previously directed the education practice at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. In December 2018, Speaker Nancy Pelosi appointed Anurima U.S. Commissioner on International Religious Freedom.

Sonal Shah is the Former National Policy Director for Pete Buttigieg's 2020 US Presidential Campaign, Former Director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation in the White House during President Obama's second term, and Head of Global Development Initiatives at Google.org.

Together Anurima and Sonal will share insights and data on how COVID-19 will affect this upcoming election. They will also focus on what we can to be a part of the necessary action to win back the Senate and the White House. Participants of the salon will have an opportunity to take action during the call.
